When you were still a kid, your parents let you join the scouts not just because they want you to sell cookies or help the elderly on the street. They want you to learn how to deal with other people as well to prepare you for a very challenging world ahead. That is why even if you are afraid of bugs or little critters they enrolled you in a summer camp so you would get to experience and learn things that you can’t get from school.

The same goes for the employees working for you. Camping with them or allowing them to camp with some of their other co-employees would also help them learn a lot of things that can be applied in their work. Aside from teamwork, they would also learn the value of competitiveness. This is very essential especially if you want them to be the asset in your company.

If you can’t think of activities where they could have fun and show their competitive side at the same time, you can always ask the organizers or the campground leaders to do it for you. Surely, there are so many programs that can be done in a business camping just like yours.

Remember that camping is not just all about singing songs while in front of a bonfire. The spirit of camping have lessons that both young and old could learn even in those who are already in the field of business.
